We are a working studio, workshop venue and small gallery presenting locally produced artworks in a variety of media. Everything that we sell is produced on site or by artisans who have presented workshops in the studio, which enables us to ensure a high quality of product offered.we are not production line oriented, all pieces are one of a kind, and most are only sold on site.
Description
We create high quality felted art...hats, vessels, scarves, bags, wraps and homewares, ceramic vessels and jewellery, mixed metal / found object jewellery, photography, film making and video production. We organise and run workshops in these and other media with tutors sourced from across the country as opportunities present themselves. The Ministry of Fun is also the home base of the Dunolly Ukulele group, meeting on Wednesday evenings at 7.00 pm and the Dunolly Streetband, who perform on most market days and at various community events. We are committed to working with community art projects... street planter boxes, ceramic projects in schools and kinders, sculptures, musical instrument making, street banners and oral history recording.... providing arts experiences to enrich our community.
