Squeeze in a bit of Bendigo history around your visit to the the Tudors to Windsor Exhibition, book your guided open house tour of The Residence of MacKenzie Quarters - just a 2 minute stroll across the street from the Bendigo Art Gallery! Tea & Scones served with every tour!
Designed and built as a private Residence to house the school principals of the All Saints phrontistery and then used exclusively as a private residence for the distinguished clergy of the All Saints Cathedral, The Residence has been lovingly restored and renovated and now operates as a boutique stay guest house.
The Residence of MacKenzie Quarters will open its doors to the public for open house guided tours throughout the duration of the Tudors to Windsors Exhibition.
This tour will take you back in time to where you will hear the rich history and stories of Bendigo, marvel at the unique architecture and furnishings and listen to the interesting and intriguing stories and tales of many of the past residences of MacKenzie Quarters.
You will have the opportunity to see the before and during restoration photo slideshow and be treated to some home cooked scones and locally sourced preserves from the Royal Tea Trolley.
Guests will also have time to relax and enjoy the extensive royal reading material at the conclusion of the tour and perhaps engage in a royal quiz!

Located right in the heart of Bendigo, from the Fountain head up View Street and take the first left into Mackenzie Street. The Residence is located on the right at number 12.
