MAPS & TRAVEL

Located at the junction of two major highways, Heathcote is a convenient distance from Melbourne, Bendigo, Echuca and other large towns. Heathcote is 109 kilometres north of Melbourne.

Heathcote Tourism -  Heathcote MapHeathcote from Melbourne:

1. Via Hume Highway
Proceed north along the Hume Hwy past Craigieburn, take the Northern Hwy exit at Beveridge and continue through the townships of Wallan, Kilmore and Tooborac to arrive at Heathcote.

2. Via Calder Highway
Exit Melbourne via Tullamarine Tollway, connect to Calder freeeway, proceed NW past Woodend, take the 2nd Exit into the township of Kyneton, at the roundabout veer north and continue along the Kyneton-Heathcote road passing through Barfold and Redesdale.

3. Scenic Route
Approach Heathcote through Romsey and Lancefield. On leaving Lancefield, cross the Divide, drive through rugged scenic country dominated by huge granite rocks. Approaching the T-junction with the Mclvor Hwy at Tooborac, the country flattens out. Take the Northern Hwy north to Heathcote.
