The Bendigo Fashion Festival is on from 9–25 September, celebrating the region's local designers and innovators, featuring Jenny Kee, internationally acclaimed artist and designer.
Our two major food and wine events happen at this time every year. Come along to the Heathcote Wine & Food Festival on 6–7 October for a gathering of the artisan winemakers of Heathcote. Enjoy live entertainment, great food and some of Australia's most distinctive wines.
Bendigo's iconic moveable feast Bendigo Wealth Heritage Uncorked takes to the streets the following weekend on 13–14 October. The winemakers of Bendigo create this unique wine festival to celebrate Bendigo wine, local restaurants and our boom time architecture.
The spring racing season is set to captivate Bendigo with the popular Jayco Bendigo Cup on 31 October, the week leading into the Melbourne Cup. A focus on fashion adds style and fun.
And the events don't stop there...
There's the Harvest Moon Festival at the Golden Dragon Museum on 22 September, and the Elmore Field Days and popular Ag Art event from 2–4 October.
A community celebration of 150 years of rail in Bendigo will take place on 21 October at the Bendigo Railway Precinct, with fun for the whole family and the re-launch of Bendigo's own R711 – completely restored by Steamrail Victoria.
The Bendigo Agricultural Show is on 26–27 October, and for tennis fans the William Loud Bendigo International Pro Tour from 27 October–4 November.
And the events keep rolling on, there's the National Swap Meet from 17–18 November, which is well-known as the biggest swap meet in the southern hemisphere – people come from far and wide to find vintage cars, collectables and much more.
For those who love live music the Bendigo Blues & Roots Festival, on from 8–11 November adds some rhythm to late spring.
