Coliban Valley Wines will be at the Kyneton Olive Oil Open Day over the Queen’s Birthday Weekend, with all the 2006 vintage available for tastings and sales, including the Reserve Shiraz. The Cellar Door on the Metcalfe-Redesdale Road, Metcalfe will also be open from 10 am to 5pm each day of the long weekend for tastings too.

Looking for that exclusive Heathcote Shiraz? Find it at Emeu Inn Wine Centre, B & B and Restaurant. Take part in a free wine tasting at the front of Emeu Inn on Saturday from 11 am to 4 pm. Join several Heathcote winemakers to taste their latest releases. Tasting glass is $5 (refundable upon return) and a BBQ lunch will be available.

Fetching Treasures Café and Antiques are open each day of the long weekend for light lunches, Devonshire Tea or just tea and great coffee. Accommodation also available. Eat alfresco or dine in the unique fully licensed 1930's setting. During Heathcote on Show drop by to taste international beers and local wines.

Greg & Natala Flynn established Flynn’s Wines with a focus to make individual and premium wines that reflect the vineyard, the vintage season and Heathcote regionality. During Heathcote on Show visit the winemakers at the cellar door and taste wines such as the MC Shiraz (Multi Clone), Sangiovese, Cabernet Merlot, Verdelho, Viognier and Shiraz Viognier. Also available to taste at the cellar door is the new release 2007 Sangiovese (The 2006 was rated one of the top 5 emblematic wines by James Halliday 94/100). Enjoy Italian inspired dishes for lunch to compliment this new release wine in the Heathcotean Bistro each day of the weekend.

Victoria’s largest independent artists’ group invites you to join them at their exhibition of 25 local artists and over 75 artworks including painting, pottery, photography, textile art and quilting. Entry is free to the exhibition in the RSL Hall in High Street from 10 am to 5 pm each day of the Queen’s Birthday Weekend.

Sanguine Estate’s cellar door will make it’s debut on the Queen’s Birthday Weekend, opening to the general public from 10 – 5 pm each day for the first time.
