The Noble Red vineyard was established in 2002 in the Heathcote region on rich and ancient Cambrian soils. In addition to the ½ acre of shiraz, planted in the 1970s, the Sobiesiak family planted 2 acres of shiraz soon after the purchase. Today, there is 15 acres under vine. The majority of the plantings are shiraz with small parcels of tempranillo, mourvedre and cabernet.
The vineyard has adopted a dry-grown philosophy with the use of minimal chemicals - producing fruit that is low yield and concentrated. The wines are big Heathcote wines, typical of the region.

The Noble Red range comprises of Rosé, Carménère, 'Cambrian' Shiraz, Shiraz, Reserve Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, GSM, Durif and special release Shirazes named 'Ellena' after our first granddaughter, 'Arek' after our first grandson and B.S.T - Blood, Sweat and Tears.

We have recently opened a cellar door in the heart of Heathcote in the main street. We have our wines on tasting and also offer up a selection of platters, cheeses, pies, coffee and assorted cakes. We are open from 10am to 5pm, Friday to Monday.
