We are very excited to announce that Goornong will be a part of the Lexus Melbourne Cup Tour 2018.

Goornong will be hosting the 18 carat gold $200,000 iconic Melbourne Cup trophy, 'The Peoples Cup' on Thursday the 25th of October here at Bridgeward Grove Olives and Art Farm Gate. It will be the last chance to see it when then it will return to its home town of Melbourne.

The day will include a chance to see the Melbourne Cup Trophy as well as enjoy festivities that Goornong has to offer with a market of the local businesses.

To view the Melbourne Cup we are asking that you all donate a gold coin with 100 percent of the proceeds going to Backpack Bed for Homeless. Backpack Bed for Homeless is a not- for-profit charity providing emergency relief Backpack Beds to homeless people turned away from shelter. We collaborate with this charity as it lines up with our performance Swagman's Luck which is about our swagman who were the first homeless in our country, travelling on foot across the country with all their belongings on their backs looking for work/ food.
