Launched in 2012 Sanguine Estate Music Festival is now an annual festival directed by Chris Howlett and Howard Penny. The festival is held at the magnificent Sanguine Estate Winery in Heathcote, Victoria, and brings together the very best of chamber music, wine and local food. The 2014 festival was a finalist (4) in the Tourism Victoria Awards Category of Best Event or Festival.

Picture yourself nestled among oak barrels, the smell of wine aging in oak, flickering candles, the sounds of glorious chamber music performed by Australia's leading artists while you sip on one of Australia's finest boutique wines. Add to this locally sourced gourmet cuisine catered throughout the weekend, including a food and wine matching lunch (for a lucky few) and culminating in a gala four course dinner, all enjoyed among the winemaking equipment or overlooking the beautiful grounds and vineyards of Sanguine Estate located in Heathcote, central Victoria.

The program has been designed to provide an absolute sensory extravaganza that will keep you enthralled from the moment you arrive on Friday to the moment you reluctantly leave on Sunday.
