After a two year 'covid break' our popular Annual Farmers' event is back!
This year’s event, ‘Safe ‘n Secure’, will be held from 5:30pm Thursday 24th March at Palling Bros Brewery and presents a great chance for all members of the community to get together and learn some valuable information to protect themselves and their properties whilst enjoying a BBQ and a local brew.
We have some great things planned for the community including talks from the experts.
John Darcy who is the Senior Farm Safety Advisor for the Victorian Farmers Federation will be presenting on farm safety and our local Vic Police Farm Security Liaison Officer (and former Heathcote footy player) Dan O’Bree will give us an update and tips on farm security.

There will be a few other surprises on the night including an opportunity to take home a Stihl battery powered chainsaw.
The event is suitable for anyone operating commercial farms or vineyards, those on smaller farms or hobby farms and anyone in the community who has a general interest, the safety and security messages will be important for all.
Enjoy a Heathcote Lions Club BBQ and a cold Palling Bros beer - all free of charge.
