Local wine and food experiences abound. Relax in our town cafes, bistros, tranquil courtyards, award-winning bakeries, authentic Australian pubs and restaurants. Most offer regional produce, many offer local art and craft items as well.
You can sample the artistry of Heathcote winemakers year round. There's 8 or more wine tasting venues open each day and many more on weekends. You'll find a list of what's open each day at the Visitor Information Center in the main street of Heathcote township.
Each year, on the first weekend in October, our boutique winemakers gather to showcase a wide variety of some of the most distinctive and iconic wines in Australia . Delectable regional foods, live music, children's entertainment and tutored wine tastings, make the Heathcote Wine and Food Festival a 'must do' for the entire family.
