"Created according to the philosophy that great wines are made in the vineyard, Munari wines are created from low yields, minimal irrigation and sound environmental practices. Thus enabling the intensity of the fruit to drive the wine style."
The deep, red soil of the Cambrian greenstone foundation, combined with the temperate climatic conditions produces an enviable "terroir" not unlike the Rhone Valley whose grape varieties the Heathcote region has embraced.
Adrian Munari has harnessed the traditional winemaking practices with the innovation of the new world to produce complex fruit driven wines that have concentration, elegance, definition, and personality.
Visitors are invited to try all the wines on release, inspect the awards that have been presented to the stable of Munari Wines and talk to the winemaker Adrian Munari or his assistant and wife Deborah. They are happy to answer any enquiries and see the cellar door as the most valuable contact point with the new or experienced wine enthusiast.
The cellar door is open 6 days a week, 10:30am until 5:00pm, Tuesday until Sunday. |
