Council of Tramways Museums of Australasia - Conference

Tickets Bendigo

Bendigo Tramways is hosting the Council of Tramway Museums of Australasia (COTMA) Conference in September 2020. It is the first time the conference has been in Bendigo since 1994.
The conference invites all with an interest in Tramways to the Bendigo Conference.

Conference Delegate Partner will also have the opportunity to book into special activities whilst the Conference days are taking place. Bendigo is full of experiences to explore and we welcome partners to this conference.
The conference will include 2 days of formal conference presentations, plus 3 days of opportunities to network and discuss delegates interest in heritage and tramways operations.
Field Trips will form much of the conference program – these will not just be social opportunities, but give you special access to these heritage experiences and engineering workshops.
Bendigo Tramways is Australia largest and most awarded heritage tramways operation in Australia – through the conference there will be opportunity to learn of its history, its current operations plus the future strategy around the recently announced $11m expansion of the Bendigo Tramways Workshop.
Bendigo is 1.5 hours drive north of Melbourne. With excellent freeway and railway access from Melbourne there are plenty of ways to explore the wider Bendigo region.
Bendigo Airport also has direct flights between Bendigo and Sydney through QANTAS, making accessing from northern states, or internationally even easier.
Keep an eye of the Conference Page - http://cotma.org.au/conference.html

Program updates, special news and other points of interest will be added as we approach the conference.
COTMA is also developing additional site visits and side trips before and after the conference program.
