At the Country Shop you find three of Ian and Marilyn’s innovative and successful businesses;

Simply Green Tomatoes:
A variety of tasty green tomato products, which can be eaten in on its own, added to a platter or used in cooking.

Country Wool Bedding:
Doona styled quilts, woollen pillows, under-blankets and even cater for the fussy in us with half and half quilts.

Woolly Warmers:
Therapeutic Heat Pads that have the farms own wheat encased in wool to fit various parts of your body, 20 in total.


When visiting, not only will be greeted by true country hospitality and amazing products but you will also gain insight into how farming has changed for the Lanyon’s over the past 47 years. From good old wheat and sheep farming to broad acreage tomato growing, diversifying and developing their farm.


And after your visit, enjoy a stroll along the lovely main street of Boort with its bluestone gutters, tree lined footpath and beautiful lake before moving onto your next venue in the Loddon Valley.
