Blue Water Silver

Arts & Culture - Artisans & Galleries Bendigo

Hours: Open 6 Days 10am-4pm. Closed Tuesdays

Blue Water Silver is a working artisan jewellery studio located within the historic Bendigo Pottery precinct, where visitors can experience jewellery being designed and created by hand in an authentic studio environment.

Description

Founded by Bendigo artist and jeweller Emily West, the studio is known for its sculptural, organic jewellery inspired by coastal landscapes, weathered textures and natural forms.

Each piece is individually handcrafted in small batches using recycled sterling silver and gold, with a strong focus on artistry, texture and wearable design. Emily’s creative process often begins in wax, where forms are carved and shaped by hand before being transformed into unique rings, pendants and statement pieces through traditional casting techniques. The result is jewellery that feels both contemporary and deeply connected to nature.

Blue Water Silver also offers custom design services, jewellery remodelling and recycling of heirloom gold and silver, allowing customers to transform sentimental materials into modern wearable pieces with new life and meaning.

Visitors are welcome to browse the studio collection, speak directly with the maker and gain insight into the handmade process behind each design. The studio reflects Bendigo’s strong creative culture and offers a personal alternative to mass-produced jewellery, with every piece carrying the character and individuality of handmade craftsmanship.

Alongside the jewellery collection, Blue Water Silver is expanding into intimate silversmithing workshops, giving visitors the opportunity to create their own handcrafted jewellery in a relaxed and inspiring studio setting.
