Set on 45 acres, Mia Mia Vistas is perched atop undulating hills of Mia Mia, a picturesque town in the heart of Heathcote Wine Region, less than 10 mins drive from Heathcote town centre, 25 mins from hip Kyneton, 40 mins from eclectic Castlemaine & historic Bendigo. You will find over 40 wineries in our region to enjoy many of which are near the property.

Mia Mia Vistas offers pure privacy for the perfect getaway. It is a beautiful three bedroom house perched atop 45 acres & cleverly divided into two villa units under one roof: 1 bed villa & 2 bed villa. This unique property can be enjoyed by just a couple (1 bed villa), four people (2 bed villa) or up to 6 travelers (3 bed house with 3 beds). We have divided this listing to provide three options for your trip. Please select the option that suits you best. Every option includes indoor spa.

We only let one villa at a time or both units together as a three bedroom house, so only one booking can take place. There are no other cottages, no owner's house on the land. Just you. You will have 45 acres all to yourselves!

Stunning! The house is surrounded by Mt Ida, Mt Camel, Mt Alexander, McIvor & McHarg Ranges and glistening surface of Lake Eppalock. Here the sunsets are magical and sunrises are dazzling.

The breathtaking mountain views as far as the eye can see, absolute serenity & picturesque landscape make Mia Mia Vistas a magnet for photographers, honeymooners, sunset & sunrise lovers, stargazers & nature seekers. Here we are all about memorable experiences & reconnecting with the ones you love.

Both villa units are fully self-contained, have their own entrance, lounge, kitchen & bathrooms, laundry room with washing machine & separate dryer. Back patio area can be accessed from both units, allowing guests to enter each unit during your stay if need be.

As a 3BR house we can accommodate 6 people traveling together whilst wanting some privacy at the same time. This is especially ideal if you are a couple traveling in a large group with an infant or with your parents. There are 2 x king beds, 1 x queen bed, two bathrooms each with walk-in shower, one indoor spa bath and 3 x toilets. Our hot & cold 'his' and 'her' outdoor showers are a bliss under the morning sun.

Our fast & reliable WiFi & laptop friendly environment will allow you to “work from home” to that includes your Zoom meetings. No one has to know you are in a wine region enjoying magnificent views! Many of our guests choose to arrive mid-week and roll into a long weekend escape in the country in one visit. So smart!

Feel well provided for ultimate country escape. Breakfast provisions include country bread, bacon, eggs, butter, variety of jams & cereals. Coffee pods for Nespresso coffee machine along with milk & variety of teas will allow you to start your days to the sound of birdsongs.

Firewood & kindling for indoor & outdoor fires are complimentary for two days. We place 6 chairs around the fire pit. High chair & porta cot can be arranged for couples traveling with an infant. Three cars can fit under the carport by the house. You can keep cool with A/C in summer.

Directions

If you are driving through Redesdale or Heathcote, get to Heathcote-Redesdale Road (C326) and you will see a large red sheering shed. Turn into Spring Plains Road and drive down until you see a sign with No. 376 (Mia Mia Vistas). This is us. Enter the drive and drive up the hill until you see the house.

If you are driving through Lancefield, get to Lancefield-Tooborac Rd (C325), turn into Burke & Wills Track and drive all the way past Granite Hills Winery, Burke & Wills Winery, Rowanston on the Track. Then turn right into McDonald’s Lane and then turn left into Spring Plains Road until you see a sign with No. 376 (Mia Mia Vistas). This is us!

Mia Mia Vistas is a beautiful 3 bedroom house cleverly divided into two separate units under one roof, consisting of a 2 bed unit & 1 bed unit accommodating up to 6 people (with 2 x king beds, 1 x queen bed, two bathrooms and 3 x toilets). This house is perfect for families, group of friends and couples to enjoy together whilst wanting some privacy at the same time. This is especially ideal if you are a couple travelling in a large group with an infant or with your parents.

You will get to enjoy both units as one house. Both units are fully self-contained, have their own entrance, lounge, kitchen & bathrooms, laundry room with washing machine & separate dryer. Back patio area can be accessed from both units, allowing guests to enter each unit if need be. There is an undercover carport that fits three cars by the house.

Host will require a photo ID to be provided for the individual making the booking & $200 security deposit paid into host's nominated account at the time of securing the booking. Security deposit will be finalised within 7 days following check-out.

Full refund (less admin fee) 1 day prior to arrival.

Cancellations received at any time will incur an administration fee from the Bendigo Visitor Centre of $27.50.
