Built in 1942, the Bridgewater Hotel Loddon River is a striking Art Deco inspired landmark set on the banks of the majestic Loddon River. Even with severe flooding in 2011 & 2022 the hotel has stood the test of time, the walls still bearing watermarks from the floods as a testament to its endurance.

Since taking the reins in 2019, publicans Virginia and Greg have carefully reimagined the hotel, undertaking extensive renovations that honour its heritage while elevating the experience for today’s guests. The result is a destination that seamlessly blends country charm with contemporary style.

Our venue is now known for far more than being a country pub. From our renowned Feast by the Loddon long table dinners to weddings, birthdays and private celebrations, we specialise in creating unforgettable events in a breathtaking riverside setting.

Our dedicated chefs deliver an à la carte menu that brings city-style dining to a relaxed country atmosphere, showcasing modern Australian cuisine with seasonal produce and thoughtful execution.

Outdoors you will find what many call “The Best Beer Garden on the Loddon”, a sprawling riverside space complete with an outdoor bar, live music and open-air dining, comfortably hosting over 300 guests.
