Victorian Alpaca Colourbration
Start your journey with us...
From 26, to August 29, 2016
11:00am - 3:00pm
The Victorian Central Region of the Australian Alpaca Association
Victorian Alpaca Colourbration is the biggest colour show in Australia with over 500 alpacas and 200 fleeces on display.
One of the attractions of alpaca is their wonderful range of natural colours and at Colourbration each colour competes for Supreme Champion awards in both halter and fleece classes. This differs from conventional agricultural shows where the competition is age based with different colours of the same age competing for championships. This different approach has been a big hit and Victorian Alpaca Colourbration is now a major event attracting over 500 of Australia’s finest alpaca and more than 200 fleeces.
Colourbration also attracts breeders from NZ and Europe who attend the show each year. Animal sales estimated to exceed $500,000 were made at last year’s event.
Events will be held indoors in the huge Bendigo Regional Exhibition Centre at the Prince of Wales Showgrounds in Holmes Road, Bendigo.
