This workshop supports participants to capture that unique moment of nature, looking closely at a part of nature to give it sensory details and an original twist. Short poems will be written using an easy format. (for Primary to Secondary - 60 minutes)

Lorraine Marwood is a poet and author. She has 16 books published including 8 collections of poetry, mainly for children. Before writing for children Lorraine was a literary poet published in journals both within Australia and overseas. Lorraine has a farming background as well as teaching qualifications and experience teaching both adults and children. She is passionate about the rural landscape and environment and recording the simple moment in poetry.
